Drum has this right. All Cheney had to do was get in the camera, apologize for this shooting accident, and this story would’ve been late night fodder. The lack of a response from the White House or any public apology or statement by Cheney just makes this odd. McClellan’s insistence that they were focused on medical care first makes me wonder if this administration can do more than one thing at a time…

Crooks and Liars has a clip of tonight’s Daily Show where Jon Stewart and company make the Cheney’s hunting accident about as funny as it can be. Which is to say, pretty damn funny.
