Alright, normally, I don’t tell people about my various drinking experiences (not that there are so many to tell about), but this weekend, I think I might have personally polished off a bottle of Macallen 12. This was truly one of the best scotches I’ve ever had.

Normally, I’m a Glenfiddich kind of guy. I like the slight bite, with the smokey feel to it. I’ve also had the Lagavulin 16 year, too. Another impressive bottle. This Macallen, however, was just incredible. The smoke coupled with the smooth taste really reminded me what a truly great bottle of scotch could taste like.
