Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.

I think Boston is a cooler city than Seattle, but this is one time that Seattle wins…
Um, Mayor Menino, the City of Boston, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, please stop the silliness. They were ads, and you overreacted. Don’t continue the madness. No other city freaked out about this stuff, and a little bit of investigation would’ve saved you a bit of grief.
PS. I agree with the post I linked to above, I would be very happy to see a new Mayor in Boston.

I just saw an ad for Dorney Park on NESN during the Red Sox game. I loved Dorney Park when I was a kid (even had a season pass one summer), but has it really got big enough that it’s worth advertising 2 states away on a Boston team’s broadcast?
