FatMixx is a group blog written by a group of friends who once upon a time all lived in Boston. We write about whatever catches our fancy. It could involve politics, software, games, movies, books, food, sports, or whatever.

The name FatMixx comes from an inside joke. There is an Indian snack mix called Hot Mix which is really, really good. Most everything in it is deep fried and so we started calling it Fat Mix. Hot Mix has a little of everything and has a kick. So do we. And so, FatMixx was born.

sujal - I am the VP of Technology at Fanzter.com, a small consumer internet product developer based in Collinsville, CT. I came there after starting FrequentModulation (FM) Consulting, which aims to help startups beat technical challenges while building awesome products. In this space, you’ll find me blathering about cool technology, coding, and, of course, public policy (which often turns into politics). jishman - Before embarking on his final goal as a drifter and scotch abuser, this member of the Outre Bards has held positions as: a DJ/salesperson/commercial voice/roadie for a commercial radio station, tech support/whipping boy for a fairly insignificant university (which only produced 4 writers on this site alone), youth group advisor, Operations/IT manager/Josh-of-all-Trades for three unintentionally non-profits, and now works as a Development Officer/Grantwriter/IT-Guy-at-Large/Whipping Boy for a Jewish non-profit and consultant to other non-profits. Plus, I dabble now and then in some side technology consulting projects, music (trombone and piano), golf (stupid 3 week summer in Boston), fantasy football (go fig!) and I definitely waste a lot of time, sweat, tears and eggs in my own version of “kitchen stadium.”

hleahh - She is an extremely attractive woman who writes more often on her own blog, The Connecticution (rhymes with ‘execution’). Sujal has had the good sense to snatch up this extraordinarily intelligent, beautiful, funny, and humble woman before some other computer geek did. She’s also a teacher and a writer.
