I have a longer post already written that I’ve been unsure about publishing on this topic, but let me just summarize it like this: Friends and family convinced me to file for unemployment while I figure out what’s next (and their reasons made a ton of sense, actually), and so I’ve had to deal with the Department of Labor’s unemployment line. I’ve called several times and without fail, they’ve been the nicest people possible. Read the article.
