The SMS features are actually the most important for me, which is why Twitter ROCKS so much when it works. The old way integrated seamlessly with IM and SMS, knew to send only to SMS when I wasn’t logged into IM, and the track feature was awesome.
However, without IM, and with SMS features unreliable or disabled right now, I’m not really getting use out of Twitter. So, I’m on FriendFeed, too, because the herd seems to be moving that way (and, quite frankly, these services are only useful when other people you know actually use them).
