The key thing that she points out is around the assumptions around whether the AMT gets fixed and whether Bush’s tax cuts expire. I had always believed that the Obama plan was a way to allow the Bush cuts to expire, but this may be a misunderstanding (and potentially a big one, actually) on my part. Some day I’ll have more time to read in the evenings and I’ll have to dig into this some.
