I miss the Clinton days, but I don’t think his wife will be the champion of publicly financed campaigns or some other campaign finance reform that limits the fundraising that Congress has to do. Until then, stuff like this will continue to happen. We’re not a Democracy, we’re an Plutocracy with corporations (or, their very rich senior exectives) having special privileges.
