Obama says, again, what he’s been saying since at least mid-2007, that he will being back all the troops within 16 months… this is a non-story, especially if our press wasn’t stupid.

Now, if it actually would let me use it, I would be very happy. I’m waiting for activation to process, which seems to be taking HOURS at this point. AT&T emailed me to let me know they were working on it, but at this point I’m starting to get impatient.

it’ll be worth the wait. last night it only too 4 minutes for me to switch my data plan and activate.

I’m running on about 5 hours now, and this thread on the apple support forums scares the crap out of me. I have both a Family Plan, a discounted plan through ESPN and on top of that I have a Media Net bundle.
2 of those three things have been highlighted by several posters as potential trouble issues with activation.
It’s crazy… this should be a fairly straightforward thing.

My sister just bought one. She is REALLY excited about it. No plan yet, but soon…and then I can steal it from her.

After a quick call to AT&T (on hold for only 45 minutes), someone escalated me to Activation Support and said they would fix it within 2 hours. 20 minutes later, done! Syncing video and audio files now and will be playing with it soon. Of course, i have some yard work to do and then need to get back in front of the computer. I’ll have to play with it soon.
