It comes as no surprise how Joe Lieberman voted on the Gonzales motion yesterday, but I was surprised to read this on CTLP:
Despite co-sponsoring the resolution Dodd missed the vote entirely.
Sen. Dodd, you have some explaining to do. I hope you had a good reason for missing this vote, as it is one of the key issues of the day.

Look up the voting records on almost all senators. A lot miss votes (even important ones) all the time. Its one reason I have a natural distaste to vote for a life long senator into some sort of executive office, they have no track record of actually making hard decisions (or a decision at all, when you have 4 bills about the same thing over the course of time you can vote twice either way and say you support both).

No doubt, but this is a signature issue for him. Just wish he would’ve been there for it.
