I’m starting to notice some issues with the redesign, specifically with the single post view. The balance of the page is just off and I feel momentarily lost trying to find the post amid the ads, sidebars, etc., especially for short posts. The content of the post, easily the most important thing on the page, has the least weight on the page. I’ll try to fix it over the next few days, though that might involve some major changes to the layout.
Here’s an opportunity to register any other comments or criticisms about the new look.

I agree with most of what you said. The Donate and T&V boxes were something I was playing around with, and to be honest, I didn’t really “finish” this… been busy for obvious reasons. I’ll probably make them all more uniform and figure out a way to get the text to pop.

I know I’ll get a lecture for still using IE by saying this, but… When I first load the page, it’s clear that you have something intended for the right hand side. But the only thing that appears once the page is loaded is the blurb about videos appearing at a later date. None of hte Donate, Active Posts, etc. show up.

Crap. One of the unfortunate things about leaving my job is that I don’t have a PC to test with. I’ll try to get a look at it tomorrow.
At the very least, you should be using IE7, which should honor the standards.

I was able to check in IE7, and it looks as intended. I did fix some stuff, so can you check again? Or, are you using IE6?
