Boy, does this seem exactly right:

Experience teaches that the Bush administration is worse than we imagine — even after taking account of the fact that the Bush administration is worse than we imagine.

I can’t think of a more accurate predictor of this Administration’s ability on any issue. I dare someone to take issue with it.
