I’m watching the first season of Numb3rs and noticed that Krumholtz’s love interest/assistant doesn’t get credited in the opening credit roll. Any ideas on why? She has as many lines in most episodes as Peter MacNicol. She’s Navi Rawat, for the record, and she’s decent in her role.

The funny thing is that they used a bunch of lines straight from Palin’s Couric interview.

She’s very good, but for some reason I have trouble taking her seriously as a mathmatician.
Its almost like I have difficulty taking Raquel Welsh seriously as a human. I’m convinced she’s a vampire. I think when she looks in the mirror she sees NO reflection!

Stab in the dark - I don’t know if they really expected her to become the stable character she did. After season one I’m pretty sure she has an opening credit.

Navi Rawat did have her name in the credits even in the first season. It was always as “guest appearance”. They made her permanent from the second season. And, to Jishman’s comments about how she can’t be taken seriously as a mathematician, all I have to say is “I’m fine with it. It doesn’t hurt to see a sexy mathematician once in a while.”
