One of those mocking, derisive but ultimately silly attacks made by both Giuliani and Palin yesterday had to do with mocking Obama’s time as a community organizers. I’ve read many different posts today defending the work community organizers do but Obama, as you might expect, puts the right perspective on the issue. Steve Benen has more background.

I don’t know when this happened, but the SlingBox has a Mac player. I got tired of checking back for it, but there it is. Anyone using it care to comment on quality or performance? Will I hate it on a G4 Mac?

A friend of mine has used it for almost 7 months and loves it on his G4 17″ powerbook.
I sent him another email asking him for his opinions now.

Does he have a G4? It turns out that the beta was just released yesterday, by a random coincidence. If he has a MacBook Pro, I’ve heard that those work great.

Yes, he has the G4 1.25 17″ PowerBook (bought last year), and uses both. Loves it. Still waiting on his email.
