I have OTL on right now and they’re doing a report on Stephon Marbury and his new low cost shoe and apparel line, “Starbury.” The cornerstone of the brand is his new sneaker, designed to match the needs of an NBA player but priced at $14.98. Marbury plans on wearing the shoes during NBA games this season, and hopes that the shoes make it easier for families to afford brand-name sneakers.

Marbury may have some detractors as a basketball player (that Knicks contract makes it easier to give up some sneaker money?), but this is a long overdue idea. It’s great to see a basketball player stepping up and challenging the notion that basketball sneakers have to cost $150+ to be good.

I HEARED ABOUT THE STARBURY SNERKERS ON THE STEVE HARVERY SHOW. THEN I HEARD ABOUT STARBURY ON 2020. I AM NEED OF SOME SNEAKERS BAD. I JUST MOVED FROM NEW YORK,TO CHARLOTTE,NC. WHERE CAN I BUY SOME SNEAKERS, PREFERABLY STARBURY’S? THEY MUST BE SHOX ABSORBERS BECAUSE OF MEDICAL NECESSITIES. THANK YOU AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU.

I don’t think they make a Shox style shoe in the starbury line, but you can go check them out at a local Steve & Barry’s Store. They are the only places that sell Starbury shoes.

The shox style shoe is not available in the starbury line. It is made to serve more as a gateway into other brands to get you to purchase shoes like the shox. And it’ll work.
