When, if ever, do you take off your wedding ring? Heidi takes her rings off to shower, but I keep it on almost all the time. I take it off now and again if I’m putting gel in my hair or lotion or something, but it seems that I should take it off when I’m doing stuff out in the yard or whatever. So, I ask all of you, when do you take your rings off?
I’ve also noticed that every new husband, including myself, can’t stop playing around with their ring. Probably because I’m not used to it, but still, it’s funny that you can pick out the new husbands by looking at who plays with their rings.

I very rarely take my ring off. I do take it off when playing golf or basketball.

Only when you are at a bar and want to pick up chicks. Though who knows, maybe the ring would help?

1) Never. I always wear it.
2) Always keep it on at a bar.
3) Coming up on ten years and I am still playing with my wedding ring. I don’t know why. I think it’s because I don’t wear jewelry, rings, etc. of any sort… Not even a watch. So the wedding ring concept is still foreign to me…..ten years later…. maybe differnt for every guy but if you are playing with the wedding ring now, I suspect in ten years, you will be as well.

Suggestion from my brother-in-law: take the ring off before golfing to prevent blisters forming under the rung under the glove…by the time you feel them, it’s too late.

One last thing that I forgot… be weary of grocery stores. I have basically been banned by my wife. Why? Because women in grocery stores talk to/hit on guys with wedding rings…. why? I don’t know.
But after it happened to me a few times, my wife said I didn’t need to go to the grocery store anymore (which, technically, is a blessing in disguise)

Whenever I take off my glasses and I’m at home. I also take it off if I’m doing something that requires a surgical scrub.

Through two marriages (the first one 14 years and the other 9 years), I never removed my ring during the marriage. I use to play with my ring all the time, rolling it around on my finger but it never came off.
Now single and no ring, I still subconsciously flick and roll the missing ring on my finger. Habbit I guess.
