I hacked together a little plugin tonight while avoiding the wedding planning now staring us in the face. So, now you can enjoy the videos in the RSS feed if you happen to be using a desktop aggregator or a tool like Bloglines. In honor of the new functionality, and as a test to make sure it actually works through FeedBurner, I give you this video:

didn’t work for me… using feed demon 2.0 with JS turned on…

Does FeedDemon strip embeds and script tags? In other words, do you get YouTube or Google videos on other sites?
I’m using a JS include to make the video stuff XHTML Strict compatible (which I think you know) and all I did was make the RSS item contain a script tag to include the JS. So, either FeedDemon is not allowing the script tag to do it’s thing, or something else is screwed up.

Hmm, not working in bloglines either. Guess I’ll need to make a better wordpress plugin to screw XHTML compliance in the RSS feed (just use object/embed). I’ve been meaning to make it easier to hook YouTube videos into items anyway.
