I love this photograph of my sisters and me. If you know all three of us, it might be obvious, but for the rest of you, I’ll explain.

We were at my sister Payal’s graduation from law school. I think my mom or dad just did something silly off camera that made all three of us (and them) burst out in laughter. I wish I could remember what it was, but it was really funny, trust me.

The photo captured our reactions, and I think it captures our differences so well. I am laughing, but you can’t really tell. Payal is obviously laughing, caught up in the moment. And Sural is laughing so hard that she’s doubled over. From reserved to expressive, all in a line.
