The real question is how it got out there in the first place? I doubt Cingular does individual deals for individual ringtones. They likely work with a label and the various ringtone companies. So, how did the ringtone companies let this happen? The worst thing for Cingular is that they get the heat for this even if it turns out it wasn’t exactly their fault.
