Seriously, this video is pretty much the ideal response to the whole thing. McCain’s campaign ought to be embarrassed, and the rest of us can laugh at both his campaign and Paris’s response.
(of course it is Paris Hilton, and she gets the details of the energy policy wrong… drilling wouldn’t carry us over because it would take 5-10 years before any of that oil actually entered the market)

Heidi and I just finished watching it and I have to say, I’m surprised at how direct he was about some of the issues facing the President. It was almost uncomfortable at times (but still pretty damn funny). I thought it was funny, especially the glacier joke, but there were definitely a lot of pauses and unfunny jokes. He seemed to warm up toward the end of the first half, getting into his character.
I was surprised he went with this kind of material though for the life of me I can’t think of anything else he could’ve done. No more Looking for WMD under the table jokes just aren’t funny anymore, I guess.
