John Dickerson of Slate reacts to the AP story I linked to below. His reaction says a lot about the vision Bush supporters have of the President. Personally, when someone asks what the Department of Defense is for, I don’t see a “piercing, 30,000 foot question” but a guy who’s in way over his depth. Of course, I’ve said that before.
