I’m all for home field advantage, but if your stadium is in Seattle, why wouldn’t you have at least the option of a dome?

Newsweek’s Daniel Gross explains the Consumer Price Index (here’s the official BLS site) in a very simple video. I could do without the goofy sound effects, but it’s a good, 2 minute explanation of how the government tracks inflation.
Per David Simon’s Berkeley talk, though, the video doesn’t go into why this matters. Perhaps they’ll cover that in the next installment of the Economics 101 series.

Dome teams never win, and they hardly ever make the Super Bowl, so Seattle’s historic playoff success can be traced to…oh.
I hope the Giants get a dome, so they never pose a playoff threat again. My favorite aspect of the Steelers’ new park is how field goal kicking is extra hard with uneven winds from only one end of the stadium being open.

Further proof why St. Louis and Minnesota never won. The only problem is if the Giants get a dome, that means the Jets get a dome too. Can’t have that.
My uncle had a theory that no dome or team south of the Mason-Dixon line would ever win anything after November 1st. Alright, so he was right about 9 out of 11 years. Everyone has their theory.

So that is why Detroit sucks? Who knew! Everyone seems to think it is crappy coaching and a QB (either one) who can’t even pass.

Detroit sucks for one reason…. and I can say it very easily (ie: “I can name that error in two words, wink!”)

The “Fire Millen” signs were much in evidence here the last few games.
Jish, what can I say, I have a soft spot for the underdogs. How long until Tigers Spring Training?

yeah, that explains it. The SAWX, the Tigers, next you’re going to start rooting for the Jets.
