Newsweek’s Daniel Gross explains the Consumer Price Index (here’s the official BLS site) in a very simple video. I could do without the goofy sound effects, but it’s a good, 2 minute explanation of how the government tracks inflation.
Per David Simon’s Berkeley talk, though, the video doesn’t go into why this matters. Perhaps they’ll cover that in the next installment of the Economics 101 series.

Alright, so I’m watching the first season of Scrubs on DVD. No joke, hands down the most absurdly funny sitcom on TV today. Must acquire season 2 next!

Sadly, not until January. Zach Braff is filming a new movie until end of the month, so he wasn’t going to be available to start filming the show.

Definately one of my favorite shows out there, aside of course from the OC. Great to know it is on dvd finally!!!

I’ve been a fan since day one, and I’m deeply disappointed that the show won’t be starting until January. You must buy season 2 & 3 they’re equally as amazing! Hopefully the 4th will be available soon.
