One of those mocking, derisive but ultimately silly attacks made by both Giuliani and Palin yesterday had to do with mocking Obama’s time as a community organizers. I’ve read many different posts today defending the work community organizers do but Obama, as you might expect, puts the right perspective on the issue. Steve Benen has more background.

I still see at least 3 teams better than they are (even if you give the knicks 10 wins just based on Larry alone), Miami (with or without Pat Reilly), Indiana, and Detroit. That’s not including teams with actual PLANS, like Cleveland and Boston to name two. Plus, they still might not be as good as the two teams to their west, NJ and Philly, both of whom have more talent than Larry just inherited.
