I just wanted to let you guys know that I’ve updated the anti-spam software used by WordPress to Spam Karma 2. On the whole, the package should be better with fewer legit comments getting blocked. Unfortunately, I need to get it to the point that it’s blocking the same stuff that the old one blocked. That might take a while, which is why you’re getting emails for spam messages.

These messages are bizarre to me, though… they don’t have URLs, just what look like dummy email addresses. I’m unclear as to what the purpose of the spam is. I think, perhaps, that this is a test for a new spamming platform, but I guess we’ll find out.
