While I’m not naive enough to believe that this won’t work from a election standpoint, I really hope we’re as smart as the good folks in Spain… don’t let the government pull this kind of bullshit. Call a spade a spade and vote the Republican Congress out of office. With a Democratic Congress and Bush in the White House, we may actually see some actual debate again… With Rove and Bush and Frist and Delay in charge, all we’ll see is politics 24/7, America’s best interests be damned.
