Alright, so, I’m a bit curious here. Having solicited opinions from a few people, and getting vastly different opinions, I have a question here.
So, let’s say you go on a date and it goes pretty well. You have a good time, and the guy/girl that you’re out with says at the end of it, “will you call me again?”
How long before you call this person again? And what do you say?

I think I’d think about it differently… when do you have to call her by? Then, you should call her when you feel like calling her or by the “deadline” above… my point is generally you’ll feel like calling her before your deadline if the date actually went well.
As for what to say… how about setting up another date?

If things went well and they ask you if you will call them, then things probably went well for them too. I would say call in the next couple of days. If things went well and you want to see this person again, don’t wait too long. You don’t have to be over anxious, but let them know that you want to see them again.

I wouldn’t wait longer than a week to at least touch base if you’re interested.

Update: So, she wrote me an email. I won’t bore you with the contents, but here is a piece.
“Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I got your message the other day - it
was nice to finally meet. I would not say I see romance in our future,
but I had fun and would love to hang out again.”
Oh well…nothing lost…
