Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.

What’s interesting is that Lord of the Rings made it as one entry for all three movies. Star Wars gets mentioned alone, on the other hand.
Also, I wonder how many letters they’re getting now for not including Passion of the Christ in the list.

What is surprising is that HARD DAYS NIGHT is on the list and yest some classics like DEAD POETS SOCIETY, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOOS NEST, Etc are not….
But then again, personal preferences

I was surprised about that too, sujal.
Dead Poets Society wasn’t a movie I’d put opposite Malcom X or Citizen Kane. Definitely over Hard Days Night, however. I still can’t believe She’s All That didn’t make it either.

never saw malcom X but heard it was great… btw, i was just making a point that some of the selections seemed suspect…
