Finally saw Anchorman last night. Have to say that it wasn’t all that I expected. It was much worse, if that’s even possible. There were some really good parts to it, but in general it wasn’t anywhere near as clever as I thought it was going to be.

The New York State Police have messages on the big signs (the ones they use for Amber Alerts) saying “Operation Spring Brake” and to expect tougher speed enforcement. Man, I thought spring break was supposed to be fun…

Wedding planning isn’t fun at all. Especially when we both want to have our wedding in, say, Yellowstone or Zion National Park and our parents are reminding us that no one will actually be able to afford to come. Of course, if that’s the case a) I’m happy because I don’t want a huge wedding and b) well, if no one’s coming, let’s have the wedding in Bermuda or Hawaii. Seriously. :)

We know that it would be hard for folks to make it out to some far away place, but I’m curious what you all think… what would make it more likely for you to come to a destination wedding? For example, if we were able to get group discounts on airfare? Hotels? Share rooms? Would the destination matter?

We’re looking at summer 2006 as the most likely time to get married….
