I just ran into a friend of mine, Andrew Slack. A Brandeis alum and member of the Late Night Players comedy troupe, Andrew is also a player in Billionaires For Bush, a group I wrote about during the DNC.
In response to the last election, Andrew has started Where Do We Go. A clip from this article says it well:
Wheredowego, born of Democrats’ hope and disappointment during the last campaign, seeks to foster “a national conversation” about the future of progressive politics, Slack said. The goal is not to win a few elections in 2006 or 2008 but to transform the Democratic Party by refocusing it on ordinary Americans — and away from the business elites favored by the centrist Democratic Leadership Council.
Andrew has started interviewing leaders and putting together his organization, but he needs some help. If you read his site and find the idea interesting, I’d appreciate it if you could drop him a line. He’s definitely looking for someone who can help with the website, and there are a few of you guys out there who might be a good fit.
