Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.

the part about the “once in a lifetime opportunity” was that we should probably haggle out when it makes sense to start spreading the wealth, as we all contribute some amount to the value that exists here. I sent an email about this a while back about splitting the cash above costs.
This is more complicated than it sounded at first just on the tax issues alone… Google will report the check they write to me to the IRS, I think. For now, it’s no big deal, but if we were to ever get into the thousands a year, the tax bill starts becoming noticeable
I’ll shoot another email out later when I get home, but I wanted you folks to think about it.
