Might not be a major setback, but I still don’t feel much safer. I’m sure, though, if we keep spending money on this, eventually it will be successful 75% of the time…
Update: Please make it stop…. It all adds up, after all. We could’ve used those millions to pay off another coalition member.

Frankly, this drives me crazy to no end. The damn thing didn’t even leave the silo. That is the easy part…we’ve been launching missles for years. Forget the hard part of actually hitting a small quickly moving object, we haven’t even perfected getting the damn thing off the ground.
Bush pulled us out of several treaties in order to deploy the system. He deployed it before it had any real successes in tests. He hastely deployed it at great cost to the country without any benefit.
Talk about another blunder by this administration.
