Ok, so I know some of you (cough cough Sujal, cough cough Heidi) are avid subscribers to audible books. Do you guys or anyone else out there have any recommendations? So far I have heard a bunch,
What I liked:
Lies and the Lying liars (have anyone read Jon Steward’s America? any good?)
The DaVinci code (and angles and demons)
A short History of Nearly Everything
a bunch of the patricia Cornwell books
a bunch of the Margret Maron books…
I did not care for Life of Pi too much ( i could not get through the first half
).
Any thoughts?
Thanks!!!

Try “Catch me if you can.” (Yes the book they based the movie starring Leo and Tom Hanks.) The book is the actual accounts from the life of Frank Abagnale, Jr. and has many more interesting ’scenes’ then the movie. The best of which are probably more fascinating then you see in the movie. It is my favorite book on tape and I recommend it to anyone.
I have read Lies and the Lying Liars, America,
The DaVinci Code, and Angles and Demons. All are good books. I would start with Lies… I bet that is a good book on tape.

Oh, damn, can’t believe I forgot that. The Franken book is EXCELLENT on audio, because Franken himself reads it.
The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri is pretty good. I also enjoyed Enders Game (i know you’ve read it). Hitchhikers Guide was also fun. Moneyball and Me Talk Pretty One Day are both good, too. Me Talk Pretty was pretty funny, actually. I was laughing out loud on the plane ride back from New Zealand. The people sitting next to me were confused until they saw the headphones.

The Patricia Cornwell books are great, I love particularly the audiobook ‘The Last Precinct’.
