I want one:

Talk about a beautiful car. The Shelby GR-1 has been seen before, but the amazing concept of using a polished aluminum finish is brilliant. The car is beautiful.
As you may have guessed, I went to the North American International Auto Show this week. Honestily, I was underwhelmed. The stuff from Ford looked awesome. The GR-1 and the SYN US are incredible. The Hybrid Escape is finally putting hybrid technology in a production car that will appeal to larger market.
The Mini looked great. It is cute and roomy and looks fun to drive. The Subaru Tribeca may be an interesting offering that I’ll have to look at when I decide to start looking again.
As for the other manufacturers, what are they thinking? The Pontiac GTO, WTF? It looks like a sedan. In fact, it looks like all the other Sedans. The Dodge Charger is only slightly better, but if has none of the muscle feel. Neither Duke would use it to escape from Boss Hog. The Chrysler 300 is nice, but it has an “old” feel to it that I’m not ready for. Even the BMWs were kind of boring…the M5 especially. It is nice and fast and roomy, but it just seems boring…and it isn’t.
So, to sum it up: Ford, interesting. Mini cool. Subaru intriguing. The rest…boring.
