Depends on when I get stuff working. Any objections, please holler, cause I’m pulling the trigger soon. Just FYI, IE is officially a second class citizen on this site. If you’re using IE, still let me know of anomalies, but don’t expect me to jump to fix them. I just spent an evening fighting yet another IE bug at work, and between that and the issues with this new layout in IE, I’m tired of it. Switch to Firefox, you’ll be happier in the end anyway.
Update: OK, so it’s not done yet… but the very basic functionality all works. I’ll be adding in the calendar and search functions and the visuals this weekend. Also, I need more images for the circles at the top. If you have pics that you want up there, send them to me… they need to be about 75×75 and should obviously be centered on whatever you want to show up in the middle of the circle. I only have 7 pictures and they’re not very good.

It’s taking *forever* to load right now. And please do replace the nacho pic (or whatever that picture is)… it’s cropped in a way to make it look rather disgusting.

the nacho pic is getting changed later this weekend and yes. I’m trying it out for now.
The load times are related to something going on with the server… I’ve been working with the support folks to try to isolate it. Because this particular design doesn’t include the calendar by default, it should actually load much, much faster. The calendar was causing the app to ask the DB for all of the posts for the month. By the last week of every month, that was something like 65 or 70 posts worth of metadata.

The jelly bean pictures are already ready, and will rotate in.
Actually, I’m planning on redoing the dots so that they’re round (you can see that I screwed up and the edges of the pic square off the shadow). I’m writing the javascript today or tomorrow to randomly fade in and out the pictures and change them as you’re watching the site.
