Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.

Damn, Kim, I’ll miss you by two years. But the good news is — I thought with all of Sujal’s cheese eating we would be separated for longer. But hey — only 4 years. Ladies, them’s the perks of dating a younger man!
My fav. part of the site is the dead letter office — some of the email to him(/her?) is pretty revealing. Man, are we culture that is so out of touch with emotions. And that makes it so easy to trigger fear. It’s really amazing. And then if you click on how to extend your life, it takes you to an advertiser. Gotta love it. Karen, keep finding these gems.

Strangly enough the guy who sent this to me is my crazy Ukrainian co-worker who also is trying to get me to go to the shooting range so he can teach me to shoot… Maybe he secretely wants to kill me?
