So here I am, minding my own business when I read at Kareem’s blog that I’ve come in second (again!) on a brilliant idea. We want to experiment with this at ESPN.com and truth be told, Kareem and I literally just talked about this last week. Oh well. It’s the right thing to do, I still believe and hopefully we’ll have it soon.

all kidding aside, I really did come up with the trackback thing without reading about it elsewhere… I’ll grant you that it’s fairly obvious, but still it would’ve been cool to be first on the block. Hopefully we can still be in the top 10.
