Was sent directly from my camera. I have Cingular’s super duper wireless plan for my cell phone. I took the photo with the camera on the cell, then emailed it to the super-secret email address that automatically posts it to FatMixx. Verrry cool. The only catch is that it needs to have a user account and password on FatMixx, so I’ve created a dummy account that I’m going to use from my phone.
Even cooler to me is that the site automatically updated the photo when I rotated it. Since the photo is served from Flickr, it reflects the latest orientation and changes I made.
Even more cooler
is that some enterprising individual wrote an Flickr iPhoto plugin that let’s you export directly to Flickr directly from iPhoto. This is now easy enough that I can just let Heidi use it. My photo gallery on sujal.net required running a shell script then manually uploading and untarring a file on the server. No way I could expect anyone else to want to do all that just to get photos up on my site.
This works pretty well. I need to investigate the features you get for the free version and whether the site has long term utility without paying for the pro version.

Meh, it’s $42 for the year for a gig of upload per month. Buck up and pay for a deserving app, Macboy!
