Or, that’s what a special advertising magazine insert in the Washington Post would have you believe. This magazine insert, bought and written by a fundamentalist religious group, purports to give the “other side” about homosexuality and gay marriage. It’s first section is entitled “Same Sexuality and Race,” taking a hard look at how calling discrimination against homosexuals a civil rights issue denigrates blacks and the Civil Rights movement. It goes rapidly downhill from there.
If you have a subscription to the post, please write them and tell them that this is not a reasonable advertising insert. It would be like a group putting a special insert in the paper saying that Jews only get discriminated against when they claim they are the chosen people, showing that Jews in fact are horrible sinners, they killed Christ, and that Jewish males only live to 41 because of terrorism.
Yeah, some people believe that stuff, but would the Post print it? Something tells me they wouldn’t.
