Oh my f’ing God, what has happened to this country??? In Nevada, a firm hired to register voters has been accused of selectively taking all Democratic registrations and shredding them. Republican registrations were filed as normal. What have these people done to our country? The Bush-Cheney Republican campaign has created this atmosphere of win-at-any-cost that fosters and encourages stupid stunts like this. People wonder why so many smart, knowledgeable people are concerned about verification-less electronic voting machines… they shouldn’t be surprised when something like this can happen in our country. Today, by the way, was the last day to register to vote in Nevada for the 11/2 national election.

It’s more than just Nevada.
You know, I actually noticed something the other day that I was riled up enough to write about, but refrained: There’s a car that parks near me in the garage at home. They have three Kerry bumper stickers on the car. The other day, I noticed two long scratches, on *both* sides of the car, that look like they are from a key or some other implement. There are no other marks on the car, which, combined with the fact that the scratches are on both sides, likely means it was done deliberately. Perhaps I’m overly paranoid, but I can’t help but assume the scratches are somehow connected with the Kerry stickers, since all of the other cars are unmarked…
