I wonder if you’ll hear those words out of Alan Keyes’ mouth as it turns out his daughter is an out lesbian. Much like Vice President Cheney’s daughter, Maya Keyes has a parent who supports policies that marginalize gays and lesbians in our society. He even criticized Cheney’s daughter for being a “selfish hedonist” a while back. That selfish hedonist who has a life partner (I wish I could say spouse) of many years. Like Mary Cheney, Maya Keyes campaigns for her father. It’s a testament to how much these two women love their fathers.

These politicians want to pontificate on moral issues to the world, they want the responsibility to govern us, yet they’re too dense to notice obvious signs from their own daughters about their lives and their loves.
