The Bush campaign missed the filing deadline for Florida by one day, As the post I linked to (and the article say), if this was the Green or Reform party, they would’ve been turned away. Of course, this is one of our two big parties so the rules don’t exactly apply. Found by way of Atrios. The bigger question for me is why the Bush campaign waited until the freaking deadline to file… typical of this White House… just-not-in-time policy. Idiots.
