Both Heidi and I have moved into the new house, including both of our cats who had a touching moment (literally) this evening sniffing each other. It is the first time I can remember both of them being awake and that close without hissing.
And, Heidi lovingly referred to me as a teetotaling moralist.

We need pictures! Enjoy getting settled. Today is the two month anniversary of our new house and well, we still have boxes to unpack.

No photos yet… I’m still trying to find my clean underwear (it’s in a box… somewhere….)
now I’m trying to figure out what our options are for running phone (!) and cable and ethernet into the various rooms… we only have 1 phone jack on the upper floor (which also is home to the entertainment center/den) and one phone jack downstairs. One cable drop upstairs, 2 downstairs. and Wireless bites in this house because of plaster walls with mesh, probably, behind it.

a. No pictures of them sniffing each other.
b. congratulations
c. seriously, no cats’ asses
d. can you link the wireless antenna into the mesh behind the plaster? Good chance it’s not a faraday cage (doesn’t go through floor/ceiling)
e. who has a phone in their house anymore? Luddite.

Sural, the futon IS in front of the entertainment center, and it is waiting for you to put it together. and to all: the teetotalling moralist came from this little ditty:

scroll all the way down to “Ballad of an Outlaw” at the bottom of the page
and then:

I was in a writing Institute this summer and This guy Matt and I wrote these poems. That’s where the teetotalling Moralist comes from….
