The headline for this newspaper article says all I can say about this:
Obtaining Cheney Rally Ticket Requires Signing Bush Endorsement
Heaven forbid you want to hear your Vice President, your employee, speak. What happens if you’re undecided and want to hear and see this candidate speak? This is pretty silly.
I wonder who’s paying for the flight out there for the event? Is it the taxpayer or the campaign?

Clearly they want a well scripted event and aren’t interested in the swing voter.
Since I had today off, I probably should have gone to hear Bush speak, but Grand Rapids is a bit far to go just to get pissed off.

This actually realy pisses me off (they were talking about this pledge in the Metro this morning). I don’t understand why the news is not makign a bigger deal over this. Can you imagine if Edwards started imposing this? Did we just take an 8 year back step?

They’re definitely afraid of Billionaires for Bush, a group of anti-Bush partisans who sneak into Bush events and chant things like “Blood for oil” and “Wealth care, not health care.” I spent last Tuesday night with b4b, and I’m in process of writing up my experience. Don’t worry, it’s a fatmixx exclusive
