so, here’s something interesting:

When you call Tivo’s customer support line, the female automated voice attempts to help you with a voice driven menu. This, in and of itself, is nothing special. What is special however, is if make a selection that is not using the voice driven solution set, the voice says “please allow me to transfer you to my associate.”

Who is this mystery associate? Well, he’s a MALE voice who attempts to help you or transfer you to a REAL person!

Weird…

Oh, and for those keeping track, having quickly solved the internet issue, I’ve moved onto setting up the TV now.
