2810 spam messages to my home email accounts since I went to work this morning. I’m getting so many now that I can’t check email without picking up 10 even if I check 15 seconds apart. This is getting f’ing ridiculous.

Throw away accounts are key. I refuse to post or give out (except to friends) any real account. Instead, I use my now-defunct Angelfire account, or Mailinator. A search for your e-mail account on Yahoo! turned up dozens of results. And you’re really suprised that you’re getting spam?

the sheer number represents an increase over the past 2 or 3 weeks. The bizarre thing is that they’re not sending spam to my main email address but to random addresses at sujal.net. Since they all filter into the same inbox, i’m getting bombarded with 300 spam messages each to like gary at sujal dot and bob at sujal….
I was OK with the 400 to 500 a day I got before… that was manageable.

Maybe they’re searching for people who talked a lot about Washingtonienne, and are spamming their domains with porn.

Sounds like they are searching for “good” addresses @sujal…and they are finding them. I wonder how much you can “enhance yourself” if you use several different types of scary herbs.
