I keep hearing that Shaq is the most dominant player in the league, that he can’t be defended and that he’s nearly perfect when getting the balls in his hand. I hear that, admit I know little about the strategy of playing basketball, and think, “Is he really?”

He’s got 3 moves that own people. The problem is that he can execute them from just about 1 place on the court. So, if you can’t get him and the ball in that low post spot (sounds, easy, right?), he’s pretty much useless… kind of like in this entire series.

My point isn’t that Shaq isn’t a great player or that his particular abilities aren’t great. It’s just that I don’t see how a guy who can’t create a shot for himself can be considered the “most dominant player in the league.”
