1.) TO is on the cover of the Sporting News and will be SI soon (next week, I think). I never want to hear Warren Sapp bitch again. (Hey Warren! Have you considered maybe its just you they don’t like!)
2.) 88-68, huh? Hmm…I might actually have to watch the NBA finals if just to see the lakers lose.
3.) Do we think it would be possible for them to show the commercial for the new “Stepford Wives” movie more often on TV? Because, I really think that Nicole Kidman’s airy voice is really what I need to hear MORE often.
4.) I think I’ve figured out why the average time that people date before getting married is dropping, guys give into the pressure because they can’t think of gift ideas any longer. Its like this is what guys are thinking when they go into a store: “alright, well, I’ve gotten her a bracelet and earrings. Well, I either need to get her a ring or a tiara because I’m SURE AS HELL not getting her clothes. That’s just an invitation to a fight! Oh what the hell, let’s just get married and be done with it!”
It is with this in mind that I ask for your suggestions. I need gift ideas, but go into it with these thoughts.
A.) I got her a necklace last year
B.) She has a pearl necklace, pearl earrings and a bracelet that she loves, so those are out.
C.) No Tiaras
D.) Weekend vacations are difficult as there are no weekends until December to go away.

Acutally I hate to say it, but some of the best gifts I got were clothes :). What about a nice watch? Take her out to a great dinner? IPod mini?

Did dinner (sushi at Oishii…mmm). Sadly, she got me a watch, so that might be problematic at this point. iPod mini wouldn’t come until her birthday, NEXT September. But you’re doing a good job. keep it up!

An iPod mini that matches her purse! Well, maybe that’s just what I’d want… How about a gift certificate to a spa for a facial and massage? Does she have diamond stud earings? A gift basket from Sephora would be nice - most girls I know like the scented bath products that Philosophy has (they come in a number of scents like Pumpkin Pie and Strawberry Shake) and the scented/flavored powders that Urban Decay make are cool (I like Marshmallow, my friend Marissa likes the Chocolate)… Tickets to a concert and a fancy dinner are good.

There is this store on Newbury called Fresh, has some more super girly bath products, like really wonderful scented soaps, makeup etc. I love it there. Also bliss is right upstairs, nice “stuff” there, purses too…
Why not just get her a bowling ball with your name on it?

Alright, so, Spa/massage it was. I went to GrettaCole and got a massage and reflexology (which apparently is different from Prince’s Musicology).

For future reference (and to hold off marriage for a while longer) i’m making a list to solve this problem in the future (my birthday is only a few months away and i’d hate for this “issue” to arise again).
