Personally, I think the best part of this article is that you will be able to move the programming to laptops and external hard drives to be watched later. (West Wing while at work, anyone? Simpsons?)

Finally, after way too freaking long, Buraka Som Sistema has released their latest album, Black Diamond. The song above, Sound of Kuduro is by far the best on the album, but there are some other nice gems on here. MIA is featured on several tracks, and the rhythm is just addicting. I cannot sit still when this is on.
Click on the image to download the album (as DRM free MP3s) from Amazon.

Being a new TiVo owner, only 1 week now… I am still just experimenting with the system. Plus, Jishman got 5000 points towards an upgrade.
BUT… under the “More Reasons to own a TiVo” section… I have one more reason based in innane, ridiculous behavior that brings a new type of comedy into my TV (TiVo) experience. I have to admit that the pause button has now made sense of Chuck Lorre Productions White Screen!
Let me rewind: Back in the late 1990s, Chuck Lorre had a little project called “Dharma and Greg” (my wife loved the show, so I got to watch it in our one TV small apartment… but getting back to my point). At end of every episode a white screen with Chuck Lorre Productions and a lot of writing underneath flashed across the screen for a split second.
A friend told us that it was a note to the audience that Chuck Lorre wrote after every episode…. hence the #41 or #33 after the Chuck lorre Productions… but I never read it. Meant to VHS record each show and go back to read them, but I never did.
Well, fast forward about seven/eight years to 2005, this past Monday night to be exact and I (a proud new TiVo owner) am watching “Two and a Half Men” on CBS and to my surprise… at the end of the show, the quick, ever elusive white screen flashes by… BUT WAIT! I have TiVo!!!!
So what do I do? I rewind live television and pause the set on the ever elusive Chuck Lorre Productions white screen and read it!
I know This revelation is stupid (it reminds me of the “A Christmas Story” when the dad gets his prize and exclaims “Fra-gile, It’s from Italy”) but NOW I can read those little letters from Chuck Lorre at the end of his shows. I can only describe these letters as “random hilarious”…
Thank you TiVo!

So, I know I commented on these little vanity cards at the end of Two and a Half Men, this one is worth reading:
http://www.chucklorre.com/cards/vc130.html
How many of us have had cases of doorgasms or gridlove before?
All three words make sense, and yes, I hear jishman has been homortified on many occasions.
Btw, I found all of them back to the days of Dharma and Greg at the following site:

Some of these are hysterical… some leave you scratching your head… but all are worth the read.
And, finally, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you missed this past Monday’s episode of Two and a Half Men… you missed a TV classic. It is on my TiVo still and will be for a very, very long time. It was one of those episodes where everything came together in a perfect blend for thirty minutes of continuous laughter!
And yes, jishman, although you hate trivial sitcoms… you will have to watch this episode… it is that good!

I have one more reason…
NEWBORNS!!!
Chloe Alexandra should be here any day now… and TiVo will help us keep up with our shows… although, I still haven’t watched the OC yet… maybe this summer!
