Looks like a performance at NYU (where she was a student for a few years). She really can sing (though she has a few misses playing the piano). There’s talent there, covered these days in a blond wig/hairdo and heavy makeup. Do your best to ignore the goofy MC, if you can.

Did you read about The Temple of Elemental Evil which now has the honor of being the first mainstream game to have a gay couple and a gay marriage?

“The sight of Dad #1 kissing and fondling Dad #2 is not only appropriate, but absolutely nutritious for the social and mental development of these bright-eyed youngsters.”
That paragraph (the paragraph that includes those lines, not just those lines) pretty much turned me off to the entire article… the author demonstrates little understanding of the morality of people like me that are comfortable around homosexuals. Sexual behavior such as “fondling” is appropriate or inappropriate regardless of sexual orientation… so kids seeing Dad #1 fondle Dad #2 is as appropriate to most gay people I know as it would be for kids to see Dad #1 fondling Mom #1 for heterosexual couples.
The only people who say the things quoted above are homophobic people who are creating FUD about homosexuals.
Role playing video games are about fantasy… they’re about asking “What if I were…” and then living it. (I personally believe that his point is lost when you don’t talk about RPGs, but I don’t have time to explore that at all).

This game and the Bertram character made X-Play a few weeks ago. Frankly, it sounds like the homosexuality of this game is pretty subdued, even if the author of the article doesn’t get it.
I’ve also heard that in the new version of the Sims, there may not be a gender check on who the characters marry.
There have been other homosexual suggestions in other games. For some reason, people assume that Guile from “Streetfighter” is gay, since he lives with an old army buddy, according to the story. Then there was Raiden running around naked in Metal Gear Solid 2. If that wasn’t intended to be homoerotic, then I don’t know what is. Frankly, many of the Japanese hero images are the same as American gay stereotypes. So, while this game may get labelled as the first game with a homosexual marriage, I don’t think this is the first one with a homosexual aspect.

I’ve even heard some talk of aiming games at a gay market. I’m just hoping that those won’t be as bad as the cheap stereotyped crap that was put out aimed at girls.

Organizational Heirarchy
Heirarchical order, from top to bottom:
1. MUCK – perhaps have experienced multiple universal contractions (have seen multiple big bangs), creator of the artificial intelligence humans ignorantly refer to as “god”
2. Perhaps some mid-level alien management
3. Mafia (evil) aliens – runs day-to-day operations here and perhaps elsewhere (“On planets where they approved evil.”)
Terrestrial management:
4. Chinese/egyptians – this may be separated into the eastern and western worlds
5. Romans – they answer to the egyptians
6. Mafia – the real-world interface that constantly turns over generationally so as to reinforce the widely-held notion of mortality
7. Jews, corporation, women, politician – Evidence exisits to suggest mafia management over all these groups.
